Recycling

Help us do better.

Additive Manufacturing is amazing, but that comes at the cost of knowing all of these parts are plastic. While this method of fabrication usually produces less waste than subtractive manufacturing in both energy and materials, what materials are left over have proven challenging to properly recirculate like we've seen with all plastic goods.

Here at Cedrate we have a "No-scrap" policy where no printable materials are sent to waste collection services if it can be avoided. The majority of our waste material currently goes right back into spools of filament to be printed again during print jobs of parts where the benefits of using new material are unnecessary like for checking tolerance and fitting with existing parts.

We also extend this initiative out to any fellow printers in the local area; Don't throw away those scraps!
We are currently accepting recyclable PLA and PETG. Please reach out to us for additional information on how we can turn your trash into treasure.
